Hi everyone. I just bought a kayfun 5. I put a coil on it and wicked it, then re assembled it. When I go to take a puff, I get nothing, I get no no airflow and just a tiny tiny bit of vapour. Could someone please help me understand airflow and juice control? The air flow rings moves up and down, why? How do I get good airy vapes?

There is a video in the first post of the thread I linked. That will take you step by step on how to set it up. You should be able to advance the video to the section regarding air flow and juice flow adjustments.

I had a very hard time getting mine to work so I just set it aside. One day I may go back and try to figure it out.

I do believe you have to have the juice flow open to get it working.

I've posted on that thread a link to this one and hopefully someone will see it.

lift the airflow ring up... it will slide up and reveal the edge of the base plate. The edge of the base plate has pips marked on it. 4 pips is wide open, 1 is tight. Line the airflow hole up with the 4 pips and slide it back down.
Hi can you answer my question... I forgot to hit reply on your comment

First question is is it a clone and if so what maker.

If your air flow ring won't lift then your juice control is closed. Has to be open 1.5 turns at least. If the ring won't turn something is jamming it. You'll have to take off the base play and pull of the ring to see what the problem is.

Hi thank you. It's authentic.

Ok. Your going to have to take it apart and check the orings. There is two that might not be in place right. Take out the positive screw and remove the base plate. Then pull off the airflow ring. There is an o ring there that if it slips out of its grove will jam the ring not letting it lift or if partially pinched out of the grove, won't let it turn easily.

Then remove the center shaft from the positive block and check the o rings on that as well as for something blocking the air holes. It's rare but even Svoemesto can miss things once in a while.

Keep in mind when you out it back together that the 4 dots on the side of the base plate need to line up with the largest air holes and you don't want to over tighten the center shaft. Just snug it up.

Thank you I've tried everything you said and I figured out how to work the airflow and juice flow controls but still it's like sucking a straw with something blocking it, I can't inhale at all

Hi, thanks everyone, there was a screw from the deck that was logded in the center pin thing. everything works now

That's so beyond rare it falls into the pic or it didn't happen class. Figured it was something like a piece of o ring blocking the air hole but never thought a screw would fit in the center shaft. You have any issues getting it out?
