Thanks Andria. I kind of assume it might be because it is a clone. I thought about looking into one of the models with 2 airholes instead of just one(or just getting an authentic), but right now my funds are all tied up. As far as the flavor, even "unflavored" has a taste. It's kind of a peppery taste. After 2 years of vaping unflavored, a person can tell when it's not quite right. I will be getting some rayon soon to try that, so perhaps that will yield better results for me also.

LOL I do realize how funny it sounds. Unflavored means no flavor additives, but the nicotine base does have its own flavor.

Yeah I've been hearing that; now that my tastebuds are back to vape-appreciation, I might give it a try. My favorite flavor isn't a strong flavor at all, a very mild Virginia, so it's possible I'm already getting mostly the nicotine taste, with just a trace of the familiar flavor. But the rayon is really excellent; very clean taste, none of that wet-bluejean break-in period. I've been following the huge thread about rayon, and apparently if there's a "break-in" when using rayon, then it's too much; if one gets the sorta burnt, hot-metal taste, then it's not enough. But it's somewhat more forgiving either way, than cotton; a bigger "sweet spot" I guess.

I wick my RSBT with cotton; I never thought organic cotton tasted bad as a wick, unless you burn it of course, and I still like it, in the RSBT; it's just a huge PITA to get the right amount; cotton is very picky about what that right amount is. But I found the RSBT tended to leak when wicked with rayon, probably because of how rayon compresses and seems to shrink when it's saturated. That doesn't seem to be a big problem with a kayfun, but with the RSBT, huge problem.
