All issues with the Crius are quality control based not design based. There's not much more OBS can do design wise to make this a better product. Without us relaying the message to the vendors and them relaying it to OBS this will never be corrected. We were all the first to purchase the V3 after OBS promptly made changes voiced by the consumer. In that short time span things are bound to be overlooked on the QC side. So the first batch wasn't perfect...oh well... but I guarantee production will tighten up and this will be the #1 rta for 2016. OBS already bought back the v1 from Wetvapes so the clearly stand by their product. This will all be worked out for everyone in the matter of a couple of weeks, especially if you purchased from Wetvapes. Let's be happy we got the product we asked for.

Nailz that looks like the base of a dripper instead of an rta. Sure you can't rock it single coil?

You might be able to, block the other side with cotton, but could still leak though, if you can wait, I will try it out tomorrow and will report how it goes in here, I actually do prefer single coil myself, so got no problem trying it out :)

I hate dual coils. I am using an Orchid V3 with two small cotton plugs to close off one side. Has worked through two fills. Will see tomorrow afternoon when rewicking time comes. No flooding yet.

If you are able to single coil the thing. Please let me know.

I have my replacement after a defective unit its the one with the velocity deck and I really like it but it keeps leaking from the meeting point of right above air control ring any fix for this ?

Rinse your base and let it air dry. I had the same problem with mine but I realized it was just left over juice held in the base after my first build where I didn't wick correctly.

Also, idk if this made a difference with mine but I took a flat head to the 510 pin and tightened it as much as possible. Now I'm bone dry.

Rocking with a single coil :D

It is working REALLY well, admit only been using for about 30 minutes, but so far, no leaking at all, I just really tightly packed the juice channels with cotton on the side with no coil, the only difference I made after the photo, was I blocked off the air hole with metal tape, as it was to airy with it left open like in the photo above. Air bubbles are only coming up from the side with the coil in it only.

I did find the throat hit a bit strong with the dual coils, but this single coil is giving me a really smooth vape, the Crius rocks even with a single coil :thumb:

Got mine today. Gave it a bath and built my first dual coil setup. .48 ohms. Did a lot better than I thought I would. Like it a lot but I'm gonna have to get higher vg based juice from now on. Way too much throat hit with my juice I've been using. Really happy with this thing and building on it was much easier than I thought it would be.

Nailz. Thanks for trying it out in single coil for me. I appreciate it.

Today I received a clone of the Silverplay Nano from eBay. Yes I am rocking it on a single coil with two cotton plugs held in place by the Silverplay single piece chimney.

my v3 metal piece is stuck to the chimney, how u guys get it out?
I used a clothe to cover the metal piece, so it doesn't scratch it, and used pliers to hold it down. Then turned the top portion and it came apart.

I think others on this thread used a screwdriver and put it in the filling hole and used it to turn the top portion off.

My top fill port suddenly got really hard to pull and push down - anyone else have this issue?
You might have some juice that's collected inside (in between the inner and outer rim) from filling. Might've dried a bit or become sticky in that area. It'll clean-up when you wash it all out. When you refill, it's best to go slowly and wipe down the area before you close it up. That should avoid the issue repeating.
