@tmcase has already given you a good, succinct answer. The only thing I have to add is this: if you are just using stock coils and not rebuilding, then there is no real difference between a separate ohm meter and the one inside your Subox.

However, if you rebuild or start rebuilding in the future, you should absolutely get an ohm meter. The one in the subox only reads down to the tenth, and once you get below 1ohm, knowing your resistance to the hundredth (while accounting for any error in the readout) is pretty important.
