Hey guys i had seen a picture about 6 months ago of an ohm reader it was black with green accents about the size of 4-6 of the normal 5$ cheapy ohm readers and had a button to actually fire the coils while reading the ohms. It looked well built and nice and i just can't seem to find it. Any help links or direction will help ive been scouring google for the past hour and can't turn up a thing.

If you're really interested in a high end ohm meter do a search for "micro ohm meter". The devices typically have four leads and range from $200 to more than $7000.

I have access to one at work; that's a little overkill, IMO.

I am about to get my 1st Ohm reader. Is the the cheap digital one not worth it?

I bought one from Fasttech, and comparing its reading to that of a calibrated high-end multimeter, it consistently reads 0.03 ohms high. I take that into account when building coils.
