Would a hardware store have the orings and the screws for the kayfun Lite Plus? I want the fill hole ones and the post ones. All the measurements are confusing me when I try to look online,

I have not found the correct metric o-rings at hardware stores. Interested if anyone else has.

You only need 2 values to order online:

Inner diameter
Cross section (how thick it is)
Try to measure an O-ring that hasnt been stretched or deformed yet.

Thanks, so $22 for authentic and $ 10 for clone on Fasttech. I will get one of each i suppose.

Chanel, how would you compare your Taifun GT2 vaping experience with the STM rebuildable ?
For me (MTL at 14W or D2L at 10W) GT 2 is much (MUCH) better. STM was retired, waiting for Vapocalypse. GT 2 just smoother and absolutely quiet. I keep air holes fully open.

Of subohm tanks I would rather use Serpent Mini, but it is small.

Fill hole "should" be the M2,5x3 phillips head.
Couple of months ago I got a variety of grub and phillips screws off eBay. Various sizes from m2x2 to m3 5. All in batches of 150, got tired of the crappy quality of grub screws I would get in the devices I got. Every one that I have replaced work much better than the ones included. Average price was around $10, yeah had to invest a bit of scratch but it was well worth it.

This is excellent information! Thanks for posting it. If this thread ever goes away, I will be in big trouble, because there's no way I'll remember all of the helpful info posted here! I think I should just keep reading it over and over again!

I might revert back to the Taifun still being my fav, STM is new to me as of last week so the novelty has not worn off. I notice today I am picking up my Taifuns more than it.

I got a liter from RTS today. I ordered before the sale so I could be absolutely sure it was as good as I was thinking. Very faint nic odor that is similar to Nude but a little stronger. It's not the same nic from 2013. Might be the same manufacturer but cleaner for sure. I just ordered 3 more with the coupon code. Starting to feel really good now. There's not a lot left I have to do. Especially on the nic base side. I will get more as the month goes on to finish the job.

I need quart or liter glass with poly cone caps now. Who has the best deal on amber or cobalt right now? I can't find the links that were posted in other threads.

Those of you stocking up on Subtank Mini's:

How many extra bases will you have?
How many glass tank replacements will you have?
How many extra RBA's will you have?
How many complete subtank mini's will you have?
How many extra o'rings will you have?

I am new to the STM and I want to see on a average, how many 'extra things' you are stockpiling to maintain the STM for the long haul. Hoping I can get a idea of what I might need.

TYIA

A little FYI, I have found that you can use a kanger upgraded dual coil in the STM.

Flip one of the clear cup seals that slide down the post of a single coil protank upside down on the upgraded dual coil post and it works perfectly.

I got my first STM a few days ago and this is all I have used.

Never tried the coils that come with it nor have I built anything on the RBA. Using the upgraded dual coil with the single coil cup seal flipped upside down on the post, I Have vaped many tank fulls down to the last drop with no leaking or gurgling.

ALSO, using the upgraded dual coil, if you take a piece of 1/8" heat shrink tube (it is the exact diameter of the STM air chamber), slide it down the air chamber tube of the STM, fill the tank to the top with eliquid, use the post of the upgraded dual coil to slide the tube out the drip tip end and quickly screw on the base, you can fill the STM to the top with only a drop or 2 of eliquid lost. If you do it fast, you lose no eliquid.

This might work with the RBA and coils that come with the STM. Not sure but can not see why it would not work the same other than, you can not fill it all the way to the top due to the size of the STM original coil and RBA.

This is how I filled up my aerotank giants and it works just the same with the STM.

Has anyone questioned the lifespan of all the or-ings everybody is stocking up on. They can dry out over time??? At least rubber ones can - not sure about silicon.

Me just bought a couple of sets of each that I needed and figured if I had to use them then I would have time to find more - o-rings are not going away - just maybe harder to find...
