Doesnt have much expansion compared to cotton ball or batting, may get you by in a pinch but i cant imagine itll be good
It might work, but paper of any kind has been chemically treated. I once wondered about using paper towels for coffee filters, but rethought that one, too.
I think I'd boil and use pieces of an old cotton t-shirt before toilet paper, if I were desperate. That's me though.

Yes I think so too; most tp will probably disintegrate faster than cotton fibre.
I have a feeling it's an earthy, almost muddy flavor...with a hint of corn. Perhaps a bit nutty??
I haven't tried it yet.

I'm using cotton at the moment and I'm just curious.
Don't think it would wick properly, as it's denser than cotton or even silica. While it seems like TP should wick well, to keep contact with the coil you'd need to roll a thick strand of it, and that would slow the wicking action.
Any slow wicking, instant burn out.
Others have used things like hemp fiber, mesh and probably others as well that you could look into, if you want to experiment with taste tests

Why use toiletpaper when you could just buy cotton? A $4 bag should last you a few years.
