Vape residue on car windows

I've been battling the buildup of film from vaping while driving. I've found that Rain-X window wipes seem to help get the film off, but I'm wondering if anyone out there has a better solution? I'm sure I'm not the only one who has encountered this.

I guess I'm Old Skool. When I bothers me, I have at it with a bottle of Windex and some paper towels.

A bucket of warm soapy dish detergent, a scrungee sponge and a squeegee work for me.

I'm with @suprtrkr. Good old ammonia based window cleaner. If you're trying to prevent streaking (drink a glass before you leave the house ) -- use old newspapers, as opposed to paper towels.

Not really anything to prevent it, but Invisible Glass works great at getting it off!

Nope you have them so that once they "grow up" and move out they get really expensive.

This is what I use but newspaper instead of paper towels.

ETA: Make sure you use ammonia free if you have tinted windows.

I keep a pack of Windex wipes in my car for just such a reason. They're not great at not leaving streaks, but it doesn't bother me too much, so meh.

After cleaning my windows with ammonia and newspaper , I have canceled my cataract surgery. It is a miracle!
