Now that really messes up a car window.

I vape in my car all the time, and I do get a film on the windows, but it comes right off with glass cleaner and paper towels. Need to get outside and clean them again, it looks a bit like it's foggy outside all the time lol. Nothing like smoke residue on windows though, I once bought a car that had been owned by a chain smoker, and they must have never opened the windows while smoking. Ended up alternating 91% rubbing alcohol and nail polish remover to remove the layer of tar. Had to completely steam clean the interior several times, and even then, after owning the car for two years, it still smelled like smoke every time I parked it in the sun with the windows up. Got a good deal on it anyway.. I would still be driving it but the transmission had other ideas and started acting up pretty bad at 194,000 miles. My current car doesn't smell like smoke and never will as long as I own it. But yeah... Vape residue is nothing compared to smoke residue.

I'm having the same problem I use Windex everyday on my work truck and It still films up this problems only started since it got cold out
Since it's been cold out my windows are always fogged up with some sort of condensation. When I clean it with a little ammonia in water it just rubs the film around. I don;t recall such a big problem last year (my first winter vaping)

It's kinda funny to see everyone recommending various cleaners.

A slightly damp paper towel will work just fine. No need for special cleaners, the film from ecigs is water soluble. Just wipe it down with a damp paper towel and wipe a second time with a dry Kleenex to remove any residue left behind. In fact, if you're willing to rub a little extra the dry Kleenex is all you need. It's all I used to clean my wife's windshield when I got in her car, pulled out of the garage, and realized it looked like I was driving through a fog bank. Two Kleenex and about 2 minutes of rubbing and all was clear again.
