It helps to put a couple drops right onto the coil and wait a while before vaping it. Also make sure to keep it relatively full. Most of the time the burnt taste is from it not getting juice. Tipping helps.

Sounds like a bad coil if you haven't used it before. Bad coils aren't uncommon for any premade heads unfortunately.

    still tastes a bit plasticy

But I did notice that if you fill it without the rubber stopper on it the wick/coil soaks better.

also noticed that fruit flavors PG only are not good in it.
Toffee PG is awesome though. Will pick up some VG/PG mix tomorrow.

If you trim the wicks up so the are just a bit longer than the tank is wide and then fluff them up a bit, they will wick much better. Also with a new head, wash it first before using, the wicks will sometimes have crud left on them from manufacturing.

sorry for all the posts but I'm excited. Went from a CE4 to this. World of difference!!!
Been vaping for a week or so.

Seems the bad taste is gone.
    4.2 v at 3.0 ohm is my spot. :)

Glad to hear it's working out for you nobreak! I still remember my start vaping experience and I felt the same way when I switched to CE4's in June 2012. Much better than what I started with and I thought CE4's were going to be what I would vape forever. I mean, how could anything be better

Well, I suggest you don't stock up on too many VVN's ;)

One more thing. The VVN's like the CE4's like to be rinsed and dry burned often. I do mine every 2 - 5 tank fulls depending on how gunky the juice is. I have one VVN head that I must have put 75 ml of juice through. Very durable with proper maintenance.
