Pulled out the trusty silver dragon and threw on the troll v2 25mm that I heat treated. Vapes well with the iJoy 26650 and .25 ish dual coil build

image.jpeg Had to vape the Zion on a 22mm tube mech. Dug out & thoroughly cleaned the old turtle-ship v2 clone after changing out the atty's squonking pin.

Vapes ok with the current coil but it does hit better on Franklin. Adjustable positive contact is too long, preventing the top cap from seating flush.

Pulled the 510, switch and neg contacts for a good cleaning. Replaced the previous home made spring with a much stronger one just layin about. Then, polished the body a bit and reassembled. Shortened the Kylin and reduced resistance on the existing FC series build, lessening each coil by 1 wrap to total .36 ohm. Ramps on/after the third pulse.
Back to life is the hellsir, by vapesirs (Parallel, dual 18650).

The random spring for the button was a killer find. No button rattle and great tension.

Ready to enjoy without fuss for week or more.

.36 seams kind of high for a parallel mech. I'm not fussing. Just bored at 1:45 AM. :)

Agreed, though the only downside is ramp time. I just didn't want to take the time to build another coil. I could'a gone down another wrap to 5/4 but 6/5 matched the airflow better.

That's why I love building for mechs. You can find the right build by using different gauges, kanthal, nichrome 80, inside diameters. etc.

Rocking my 23 mm Atermon today with Taifun GT II.

Otherwise I would rock a 22mm Atermon for my Kayfun or Squape :) But to be fair I prefer the Taifun usually.

Nothing fancy in terms of looks but an amazing device. Adjustable for battle rattle which servers also as a locking mechanism + side firing button. Pure love.

3d printed squonkers by MSqrd Mods, aka me :) I designed and built these, both 26650, alumide with modmaker guts inside. The grey one SCLPT is a semi mech with switchfet v2, gets way more usage because of the smooth button and ergonomics. The red one SQRD is a full mech, also very nice.
