    It does hold its value. There is a lot of other mods that hold their values just as well for example Hana Modz, Viscious Ant, etc.

    I wasn't really worried about the money. If I didn't have it to spend I would have never bought it in the first place. I also knew if I didn't like it I could sell it on here or other sites and get full retail out of it.

    IPV Mini and what battery?

    It takes an 18650 battery. It really matters what ohms you will be vaping at. If you are going to be vaping at 1.0 - 2.0 ohms then pretty much any battery will be fine. I would suggest either a Sony VTC 4 or 5 or a MXJO batteries.

    Are you using flat wire? If so you may want to try using just like a basic 26g Kanthal. Flat wire is mostly used with kanthal to be twisted in together to make a coil. You can make a coil with the flat kanthal but it's more for experienced coil builders.
