    Hello @yrrab. Welcome to ECF, glad to have you here on the forum with us. On mech-mods I found parallel coils to be key to getting me a good vape with quick ramp-up. My favorite build on my mech-squonkers is parallel 26ga KA1/ 5 wraps/ 2.5mm ID / ~0.29, quick ramp-up and a nice cloud.

    With regards to your wick-tails. Try different lengths, different things work for different people. I always have my wick-tails just off the bottom of the tank with RDTA's thats just what works for me, some like them halfway up the tank, some cut right under the deck. Try and find what works...

    This is usually caused by wicking not keeping up with your wattage, make sure your wicks are not getting choked where they push through the deck also try alittle less wick. VG can combust in the right conditions, I doubt its done you any harm but its best to try and avoid it happening too often.

    I've used contact and spaced SS316 coils for TC and both worked and performed the same for me.

    It sounds normal to me but you could clean all your contact points (510, (male and female connector)), and make sure all is snug, as dirt and loose connections will cause excess heat.
