    Tesla invader 2 problems

You should really have an ohm meter anytime you're rebuilding. You should definitely have an accurate atomizer ohm meter if building for a mechanical mod.

eleaf coil setting is off by .2

I've found all my devices read coils 0.1-0.2 ohms higher than the advertised resistance. I think manufacturers tend to error on the side of slightly higher resistance, probably for safety reasons. My Aspire coils all read higher on my iStick, VaporShark, and USA Ohm Meters meter. If I...

i thought the eleaf 50w will adjust to my head

Mods (Advanced Electronic Cigarettes) come in two basic types, unregulated and regulated. The iStick is a regulated mod. On an unregulated mod the power from the battery is supplied directly to the atomizer (Coil, head, etc.). There is no way to control the output power of these devices...

    Smy 260

That mod appears to need batteries capable of providing 25 amps to run safely at all power levels. If your Samsung batteries are the INR18650-25R then they are only capable of 20 amps. I'm not aware of any high drain safe chemistry battery that could provide 25 amps and 3100 mah capacity, so I...

I notice they don't state the Efest 35amp battery is actually 20amps continuous, but neither does RTD Vapor.

    battery issues

What does your volt meter show at the 510 connection when it's not working? Is there voltage there? Well I guess SMPL is hybrid, so might not can even check it.

    Help, tips and tricks

That looks like a variable voltage device that can output 3.6, 3.8, or 4.2 volts. It says it has a standard 510 connector. More clouds? Turn it up to 4.2 volts and as long as it's not giving you dry hits that will be about the best you can do. You could use a higher VG liquid as long as it...

    which boxmod should i get

The Sigelei 100 Watt Plus is decent looking... But the IPV4 is a nice looking box mod though.

I don't have any experiences with mods in that power range, but people seem to like these: Sigelei 100W Plus Box Mod I'm sure you'll get more suggestions.

    Best charger money can buy

Yes, if a charger says the channels are independent that means one can be used w/o concern for what's going on with the other.

    Best charger money can buy

I've had a Pila IBC for over 3 years now and it's been a really good charger. Batteries always check at 4.19 volts when I pull them off, regardless of how long they've been setting on there. The Pila is a little old school, no fancy displays or anything. It also only has two bays, and needs...

New to forum. Ohm setting for mechanical mod?

The Tesla appears to be a VV/VW mod with a max output of about 18 watts. If the mod is about 85% efficient then it would need the battery to produce about 21.2 watts of power at maximum ouput. Peak current on a regulated mod will occur just before low voltage cutoff, around 3.2 volts...

    Let me tell you

Wow, this thread kind of went off on a tangent. The Lemo is a regular RTA, not a subohm tank, although it could be built with a subohm coil. Nothing wrong with an iStick 50 watt, great battery life and plenty of power if needed now or in the future. To the OP, I would follow the advice to...

    Which battery

Your battery is probably rated to deliver 20 amps of continuous current safely. If the KBOX shuts off when the battery reaches 3.2 volts (Couldn't find the shutoff voltage.) then it should never draw more than about 14-15 amps even when set to 40 watts. So your well within the safety limits...

    Sub-Ohm safety concerns

A 20 amp battery can theoretically handle a build as low as 0.21 ohms, but that's pushing it with zero margin of safety. If you look at this... Battery drain | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators You can see your 0.26 ohm build draws just over 16 amps on a fully charged battery. So it's...

    In the DIY research phase...

Let me start off by saying I'm very new to DIY eliquid and hopefully others with more experience will give you better answers. The only problem I see with premixing a base is different flavors and recipes may require different amounts of flavoring. Since you don't know the % of your final...

    smpl clone just arrived!

I wouldn't put a SMPL mod anywhere near my face, looks like way to much potential for shorts. Just my opinion.

    Variable Voltage/Wattage

Most non-rebuildable tanks, excluding the subohm tanks, can handle 10-20 watts max. If it taste burned or dry turn it down or you can mess up the coil. 4.8 volts is about 15 watts on that coil, 3.8 volts about 10 watts. 6 volts will probably be too much. Just start low and adjust to your liking.
