Which piece are you having problems with? In your picture above, you'd take the top tank piece (with the cap and drip-tip that screw into it) and screw it into the atomizer base. You don't use the other metal tank section or the clear tank obviously, and you don't use the evaporation chamber...

You can also rock the Kayfun Mini in drip mode without either of the two tank extensions. Here's a pic of mine set up that way on my Simplicity (click to see bigger version):

I have the Themis 14 with the gold accents - it's a gorgeous mod and hits very well. The contacts are gold-plated as well, so they don't tarnish and require polishing all the time like brass. They're expensive, but I don't regret my purchase one bit, and I don't see myself parting with it.

Are you sure it's not the aforementioned loose screw issue? Mine loosens up really easily and I have to tighten it at least once daily or I start getting that rattle too, and things go downhill from there. Would a little loctite on those threads hurt anything?

The Mini is 14mm. My preferred setup right now is a 1.6 ohm microcoil with 28g Kanthal around ekowool. Have you adjusted the airflow to your liking using the screw? After that, you might try adjusting the placement of your coil relative to the air hole. Lots of helpful tips on building are...

The Kayfun Mini and Dripper Spiral/Pro are my two favorite RBAs. The Kayfun Mini set up for drip mode (including a drip tip) is only longer than the Dripper Spiral if you don't use a drip tip on top of the Spiral, which I do. As much as I like my Drippers, they're my second favorite RBA...

I'm seeing this too. At the same 1.6 ohms as I ran last week I'm getting much better battery performance, probably because I barely have to press the button to get a hit.

I decided to try this out today for the first time because here in 'Murica we have the freedom to microcoil our hearts out! ;) I did a 9 wrap of 28g Kanthal around 1.5mm ekowool on my backup Kayfun Mini that metered out to 1.6 ohms. Fired it up - this thing produces serious clouds and sucks...
