I just received this (2 1/2 weeks shipping) and this is the first time that I have delt with an e-cigar. Are these carts refillable? I noticed that when inserted, the foil covering the cart is pierced... would that keep it from being refillable?
So far I like the vapor and the taste. Seems...
Good luck to ya. I am ex Army.... never made retirement, after a while in Iraq with the NG I decided to get the hell out.... too old for that S****! My brother was AF...wish I would have gone that way-after being RA and NG I learned that the Force really looks out for theirs (was actually...
I should be in Carrollton by the end of the week....I am starting to work there, and am relocating. I really feel strange because I still don't have a place to stay when I get there... I decided to just go for it, and I really have a good feeling. Hope I can go to a meeting in N texas soon.
Really good progress Roadkill. I agree it would be nice to get some life testing done, but this has been a great stride in the right direction... keep up the good work.
Well, just went for day two with the layered cart and I am still getting more vapor than ever before. I noticed that it is wicking the juice from the bottom up just I wanted.... It is emptying the cart and producing great vapor and decent throat hit....I have found the combo that works for me.
I have tried the PTB and the spring (spring standing up in the cart) but today I tried taking one of the tea bags out of a cart. I cut the PTB in half so that I could roll about half of the material...I took the original cart material (I have been saving when I replace it), spread it somewhat...
That sounds like a great idea. I guess when I find a place to live and settle a little, I will probably be looking to get some equipment....saving on shipping would be fantastic.
Hello. I recently started vaping, and have been offered a job in Carrollton, tx. I plan on moving to the Dallas area in the week or so to start work. I need to get situated in that area, and will be looking out for some e-cig. stuff in that area.
I clicked the link to join this thread even...
I second that. Brainstorming is about the most ideas you can come up with, and no idea should be excluded as being 'bad'. Even the dumbest sounding allows others to piggy-back off of the concept.
So go ahead with the ideas, even if they sound ridiculous.
Welcome to the jungle.
Techno,
I did A LOT of independent research and calculations on them and came to the conclusion that they will not work for the following reasons:
What devices did you research? How many prototypes did you make? What was the heat that you got from them? How long did it take to get to temp? If...
It looks like these are 10ma maximum current. You should use some kind of resistor to reduce the current to these.
@3.7v = = 3.7v/.01A = 370 ohms
@5v = = 5.0/0.01 = 500 ohms
And those are maximum currents, so the resistance should be greater than this.
The 100 ohm resistor is used to produce about 20ma of current through the LED. At 2 volts, using V=IR, 2volts/100ohms=20ma of current (there is also about 0.7v dropped through the diode[LED], but this is good enough of an estimate).
3.7v/100ohms will give about 30 to 37ma through the LED...
