Thanks to tax returns, my budget has gone up. I still want the most bang/buck, but I also want something that is going to work well. I'm now thinking Russian, kayfun lite plus, expromizer, even ithaka. Not against clones if they work consistently. I like a fairly open draw.... Hate...

I use pretty thin juice. Mostly 80% pg. The last few purchases have not been great for me... Fogger, rocket... I need something that just works. After the rocket, I'm scared to death of kayfun type things. Anywho, I want advice from someone that uses thin juice on what to get next...

It is simply two 32 gauge wires run parallel around the wick and separated to even out the heat. What it works out to is about the resistance of a twisted coil at 4 wraps, but the contact area of a single wire wrapped 8 times. Here is a terrible pic that you won't be able to make out a thing...

15k between 3&4.... 4.7k an 100k pot in series between ground and 3. The wiper and other side of pot are shorted together and to ground.

I'm trying to get this booster to work, but I'm only getting a range of 4.5 to 4.9. Any ideas?

It's tensioned with ball bearings through holes in the side of the tube and wrapped in shrink tubing. It's a nice and simple 14500 mod. I already have a lock (so it won't accidentally fire) designed for the bottom, but ran out of time today. Oh, and the center pin is adjustable:cool:

I am currently using ss in a vivi nova. It was a royal pain to get set up, but leaks a lot less than my duds. I still dont like the tight draw on the nova, but it's the best flavor I've had. Keeping the tiny wick in the juice is required. If I have time i'll post a pic later.
