Ugh! ...I've built several buck mods with no problems. This one is frustrating me enough to make it a semi-mechanical mod. Been wanting one of those too. Want to use a low res MOSFET and 14 gauge house wire.

Gonna put the booster on the back burner.

Oh... And stainless Steele is a bear to drill even with titanium bits!

...and yes, one of my pins came loose while soldering. Had to reflow it back in place....crooked... Grr

View attachment 230952 Boosted feeder. Might have enough room for on-board charging.

i would swap atty and chip location.
but this is depending on, if your atty is capable of bottom feeding...

this way you can separate wet(atty/bottle) from dry(battery/board) area.

just a thought.

Good luck on that wiring!

So here is what I ended up with
IMG_20130720_142939.jpg IMG_20130720_142844.jpg IMG_20130720_143006.jpg IMG_20130720_142950.jpg
Atty is modded from the top of a Chinese did. Running 1 ohm coil on it with a .4 v drop at the Atty.

This one isn't done, and I will change a lot if I make another. ...Till then, this is the best vape I've had.

I mainly want the air intake to be external as that's the only place it leaks from.
