    Owning good stuff

REOs mods (keeps me off the stinkies) Leatherman multi-tools (not a day goes by that they aren't used) Weber kettles and smokers (I'm either grilling or smoking something every few days) Nikon cameras and glass (I like to lose myself behind the lens) Jeep (gets me in/out of jams, where...

    I was excited.. and then..

A thousand times, yes! The last classies purchase I made was for my white whale.. A mini Woodvil in walnut/zebra to match a regular Woodvil I have. Upon arrival, I found a mess.. Including the negative wire completely missing from the switch. (Not unattached.. missing). After a quick trip...

    Its woodvil time

The last few sales there were plenty to go around. Some may not have gotten their absolute number-one favorite top choice, but I don't know of anyone who wanted one on release night not get one. If I'm not mistaken, I think there were even some still available a few days later (Lisa can either...

I will be giving it my very best attempt to snag one of the wee ones, you can bet the farm on that. January will mark 3 years analog-free so a celebratory big-daddy Woodvil may be in the cards too.

Poor Little Reo Needs Some Attention

Don't be afraid to put pressure on the pin when filing. Sometimes it takes some elbow grease to get it right.

The wife asked why I bought another Reo...

I like your style, minigoat. :thumb:

    Huge Mistake

A couple of us keep spare REOs on hand as backups. Just a few of us.. It's good peace of mind. ...who am I kidding... :p You're already cool because you chose the REO.. But won't achieve "Total Extreme Cool" unless you're double-fisting REOs and hotboxing until you pass out.

That was unnerving... Karen makes a post with pictures... I'm looking at the pictures and can't help but notice some rather meaty hooks holding some REOs.. And all I can think is "how in the world can she make REO covers with those"... Then I saw the shout-out to Vapolith. My world is...

Mechanical reos will be seeing some upgrades

Thanks for keeping us in the loop, Robert. And those were with the standard neg-springs, I assume? If that's the case, performance will probably be even better than those vids show? Holy Moly you are going to sell a boatload of these kits. (I'll need 10 of these. For starters... )

One of the largest reasons I love my reo.

Yeah how do you expect us to read the numbers on those gas receipts with the image all jerky and stuff?

    Rare reos.

Excellent thread, and getting the historian's view from all the pioneers of the REO product is such a treat. Thank you all for sharing.

    Rare reos.

After hunting for one of the elusive 14500's for almost two solid years now, I absolutely agree with this statement.
