That was me wrapping Nichrome with Kanthol wire. I did it today and really don't see much of a difference but it does heat up a tiny bit faster.

I've actually never tried nichrome [emoji15]

I love Nichrome because it heats up so fast BUT it has a tendancy to break when you're burning the coils off so you have to be careful not to run them too long at a time.

With magic I usually just wrap a new coil instead of dry burning... You never get the burnt taste out after dry burn.
