Tooting on my Pinch... Makes going a year older fun and relaxing.

Almost a week into using this, I can tell this is an improvement over the Sumpin', which was already a very good mod to start with.

I had a fun thing happen today. My disc sander started smoldering.

One of those lucky situations tho, where you start taking it apart and you can easily identify the problem.

so I took it apart a wee bit deeper, cleaned and checked everything, nipped some nubbins and hardwired it to the chord. Went and got a plug strip w/ sufficient amperage on its switch, and that's my switch for now, until I can order up a proper one.

Back in action. Didn't get as far as I'd planned with the mods; but they are all of a shape now, and just need the refinement steps tomorrow.

I swear I have more switches go lousy than anything else on my power tools.

btw: I got a momentary footswitch for the drill press(es) .. . oh, man! Can't recommend that highly enough! It's like having 3 hands!

Hard to say really. HRH had an iron like that. i think the cure is a new one.

But HRH goes to the shops and returns saying "i couldn't leave it behind" - baby back ribs were on sale!
