Hi all. I don't think I have enough posts to post in the appropriate section, but I have a question. I've searched the forums, but I'm having a hard time finding this discussed in the past.
I started mid February with a KGO kit and started at 18mg. Over the course of the last 3 months I've easily made the transition to 6mg juice. It was astonishingly easy, to be honest. Very soon I'm going to try to make the move to zero nic juice. I want to try making my own juice, however, concentrated nicotine scares me and I won't DIY anything that needs nic.
I guess my question is this. If I make the move to 0mg juice and continue vapaing (because I simply enjoy it), how do you think it will be viewed by society? Will I still be seen as a pariah by society, ANTZ, and the FDA even though I'm using no tobacco derivative? Will I be regulated as a smoker by my insurance company? What are your thoughts?
I will tell you all this. I quit analogs about 4 years ago. I've started and stopped several times because my wife continued to smoke. After I started vaping, I kind of gave her an ultimatum to quit. She made the jump to e-cigs with nary a complaint after 41 years of smoking. These PVs are an amazing product and I personally am doing everything I can to convert any smoker I know, and anyone who asks me about this "thing" that I carry around.
Just this morning I was watching a segment on Faux News where they had a couple of doctors on who were telling people how to quit smoking. Patches, gum, cold turkey, and even hypnosis, but e-cigs weren't even mentioned until the host asked about them as a footnote to which they said, "That is a topic for another show." Here we have a product that has moved what? Hundreds of thousands off of analogs in a relatively short period of time, and it is nothing more than a footnote.
Sorry for rambling and hope my original search for opinions didn't get lost in it.
