1 handed coil

I have a friend that has been using my dipper and he loves it. He is wanting to get into the rba's which i think would be great for him. The problem comes with him only having one arm. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was something on the market that would help him with building a coil with 1 arm.

You could look into getting him a small vice grip or a couple of them. Jewelers have some fairly small tools that might help.

I'm not suggesting that it would be easy, by any means, but if he could set the wire and wick into the vice, he could wrap it from there... Maybe even gently put the atty base in too?

You could take a look at a Gizmo:

It would still require something to hold the wire at an angle to the mounting bracket and put tension on the wire.

The jig would work if mounted, you could pm darkzero and see if he is still making them, he made the original one.
