I just noticed my counter is almost at 40,000 cigarettes avoided. I knew it was over 3 years since I quit but that number really brings it home.
I didn't keep track but should be at least 7k if not more. Also I notice almost 15k not spent on cancer sticks, so how much do you think your ahead? I personally am way behind but the wife keeps us even as she is happy with what she has. I just need one more REO.![]()
will need to wait a bit, back to college for one of my daughters. I have been eying a hammertone SL /LP mini. and of course I'll go overboard on the next Woodvil saleTime to celebrate with another Reo.
Yeah I knew I was thousands of $ ahead, But 40k cigarettes is staggering to say out loud. I never thought about if before but that is over 10k cigs year I was smoking.Woot!! That's a couple of very nice milestones, FB
40k cigs. Man... say that out loud. That's got to be, like, half a million puffs. Those reos have got to be worth their weight in gold krugerrands (while being cheaper than the $15k you've saved).

Congrats man! I actually got curious and did the other math last night. During my tenure as a smoker I went through more than 170,000 cigarettes. That's an awful way to think of it. And when worse yet, it was more than 50,000 bucks! I'm sure a lot of folks did worse than that, and I'm just glad that you and all the rest of us here have found a way to ditch the habit!
Congrats again and to all of the rest of you!
Nice milestone FB... I recently checked mine and was just over 50k cigs not smoked... 2PAD for 41yrs...
