Well, what can I say..

I never thought i would ever be able to quit smoking. That demon that always came to haunt me, the smelly breath, hands, clothes..
I had tried patches, gum, aerosol, and nearly every other type of NRT.

Then I came to this forum just over a week ago and tried e-ciggs. I started solo on e-ciggs last Saturday morning, and not touched an analog since

Holy mother of god i've done it ! - The most i had ever gone analog free was a day, and then i was a right grumpy $h!tebag !

Thank-you to everyone on here for the advice so far, and for the amazing amount of effort that is clearly put into this forum.

I will now go and give myself a congratulatory vape session on my itaste VV3 - which i must say was the best £45 I have ever spent ! I'm still in the process of hacking up all the rubbish from my lungs, but my taste and smell have already increased. I have no more orange fingertips, and the other half is amazed !

I can now walk up the same hill to work, as I do every day, and not get winded.. I didn't realise till i'd done it, and did a small jig of joy, got some interesting looks from passing motorists !

Again, thank-you !

Congrats ACQPL and welcome to the wonderful world of vaping. Being tobacco free for a week is a heck of an accomplishment and your jig of joy is well deserved. I'm on day 75 today and feel tons better than 75 days ago. ECF is a great community and I hope you find information, support and fun here. I lurked here for a week prior to vaping and really got valuable information here. I joined soon thereafter because I realized I wanted to share, contribute and give something back. Thanks for sharing your story and I hope you continue to share your vaping journey. Namaste.

You're doing better than most. Some of us smoke and use ecigs in the beginning and take weeks or months to vape only.

I was a smoker for 32 years and felt the same way when I was able to do without. It's very empowering to say the least. The variety alone is mind boggling. Whatever works best for you is the right way. Glad to have you as part of the family!
