You're 100% correct Houdini. Having no life helps. Not working for awhile helped. Working from home at a job that requires being at the pc most of the day but only actually working in short periods of 5 - 15 minutes at a time majority of the day helps. A lifelong aversion to sleep really helps. And not caring about the post count helps

Really doesn't take a lot of time though. Heck I've spent large chunks of time away from the forum in the 4 days since this thread was started and still have 116 posts since then.

But yeah it's kind of annoying anytime I do notice the number of posts I have made in the time I have been here. Just yesterday when I happened to notice I was at 5,355 it popped into my head that 5,555 might be a nice number for it to stop at....
