hi guys, i recently ordered pure VG and some flavor since im PG intolerant, well the problem is the flavors are PG based (shame on me) when i try to do my DIY with 10% flavor it doesnt taste like the flavor at all, when i increase the flavor% it started to taste better but then the PG kicks me and can not vape it, then i saw on youtube a guy who makes his juice with MCcormick pure extract which he can get on the local supermarket, he mentioned in the video and showed that the box said no PG or at least didnt mention it, my question now is, is there any other flavoring that anybody here can recommend and that i can get on the supermarket which is PG free so i can try my DIY before i jump and buy the alcohol based on the internet? i will eventually end up buying the alcohol based ones since they are more concentrated, but would like to try some flavors before i know which one i want.

thanks

Youtube is infamous for letting dumb guys to show off. It may be good for laughs, it may be bad for your health.
I have googled for youtube+vape+McCormic and I found a video of a guy who made e-juice with strawberry extract.

Then I looked for ingredients of that strawberry extract:
Water, Alcohol (27%), Extractives of Strawberry, Apple Juice Concentrate, Lactic Acid, Caramel Color, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Propylene Glycol, and Fd&c Red 40.

All baking extracts are low in flavor, so you'll need a lot of flavoring. You'll get a lot of water (it will give popping sound while waping), you'll get alcohol and PG, you'll get Apple Juice Concentrate which means you'll get a sugar to gunk your coil and you'll get a lot of food colorings - I'll never vape colorings, but some people will.

While some supermarket flavors could be suitable for juice, you need to check labeling carefully and be prepared to disappointment. It's better to buy flavors from vaping supplyers. For example, all Nude Nicotine flavors are PG-free (but they do have an alcohol, you need it in PG-free flavors).

ok quick question.. have you try any of nude nicotine diy? i dont mind the alcohol part, but the PG is killing my throat, and i wanna do it myself, but my main problem here is that i vape for the flavor, i dont use nic in any level, so i wanna make sure i get really good flavor without the PG.

thanks

yep - nude nicotine flavors are VG based (at least the ones I got are). Mine are now waiting until I have the patience to try again with them - they're VERY strong (compared to other PG brands), don't mix as easily (with all VG, you pretty much need something - a sonic cleaner, a paint mixer, etc - to help mix it, I wore my arms out trying to shake it by hand and it still didn't mix well). That said, I do think they hold great promise -- now I have a sonic cleaner, so it's just a matter of reducing the percentage of flavors in my mix and giving them time to steep.

I don't think I'd try any extracts -- alcohol, food coloring, natural flavors, things I really don't want in my vape.

Yes, I tried it and I liked it. But I cannot advise anybody on flavor: I like very diluted stuff, 4-6 time weaker than other people use.
