Somewhere out there
Open windows and dilute the spill would be my suggestion, wear gloves soak up with paper towels, then add water to the spot and soak up more, this will dilute the mg you are dealing with. You could put paper towels down then a garbage bag on top and walk over the spot to keep away from the Nic. Then use the garbage bag to dispose everything in.

im not understanding why a lot of people trip out about this situation, i have a 100mg/ml liter of nicotine that i use for every bottle. literally every bottle, even 10ml's.
ive never used gloves or any protective gear, and just about all i do i wipe the sides of the liter when juice gets on the sides.
im pretty sure it has rubbed off on my fingers a few times, and ive never noticed any irrataion, and most times i just wipe my hands on my ejuice towel... sometimes i wash them if its a considerable amount that i know wont just wipe off.
is my skin just not sensitive or is there something i dont know.

***quoted the above post from you because I find your post history somewhat interesting...

I would dump about a gallon of water on the area and massage it into the carpet, then sop it up with a towel, using rubber gloves. Whatever you do with a spill like this, Don't just fire up a shop vac and start vacuuming up, you will disperse whatever you spilled into the air. If children or pets are living in the house, I'd consider replacing the carpet and cleaning the flooring beneath the area before new carpet is installed.

All of the Above.

I would also Recommend that you wear something to Protect you Eyes. Even a Pair of Sun Glasses is Better than Nothing.

this is why i don't play around with nic concentrations any higher then 36mg. One i don't need alot nic strength anyways or it makes me sick and two... accidents happen. I would certainly save money buying the higher nic concentration but it's just not worth the hazards that can come with it for me. The experts say you should be fully geared up before coming near concentrations of that level....go figure.

What experts? For "pure" nicotine, yes. 100mg does not need a full hazmat ensemble, nor does it need a fume hood.

didn't say they needed a full hazmat suit, but 100mg is nothing to mess around with without proper gear. The poster can do their own research on what experts say about handling that high of a concentration and make their own mind up on the seriousness of this spill and handling that high of a concentration. Not going to debate you on on the matter i know what i have read and we each can take that advise or leave it.

it's really disturbing that some on this site time and time again deny that there are danger zones related to vaping..this is so true with anything in life..moderation is true with anything and vaping is no exception. Playing around with 100mg of nic in one's living room is irresponsible and stupid practice. A DIYer should know better and down playing the dangers of 100mg of nic in such a way should be shamed upon not down played. If you are playing aorund with 100mg you should have proper gear and work on a clean hard surface....period....not in someone's living room.
