Some good topics and discussions/heated debates lately.
Both sides have equal points.
Truly lies in the individuals and what they choose meets their needs and they handle it safely just like one would with any other chemical/poison that is around the house and worksite.
There are so many things we use on a regular basis that are dangerous and the key is to read the cautions and FOLLOW them. I've gotten way sicker from cleaning the bathroom and not having enough ventilation than I thought possible. My stove needs cleaning, but I hate using the stove cleaning stuff. Driving is hazardous, but most of us do it every day. THe key is to educate yourself and follow instructions. Anyone who is unwilling to read up on how to handle nicotine liquid should be doing DIY at all with any strength nic liquid. However, if you do the research and follow fairly easy safety precautions DIY can be fun and save money. I buy from vendors for complex flavors and DIY for my easy mixes. I enjoy vaping both.
Sign up for there news letter but normally it is around end of month or so. Think they sell off the old stuff but it is still good.

I simply cannot believe you guys missed this. Box Elder is not mislabelling their product, nor are they likely to tell you why they named it that. It seems to be the source of their nicotine....CHINA! from a google search, I gleaned this little phrase " See All items from Levonic Industry (Shen Zhen) Ltd." and took it from there.
I have schooled myself in the proper (and safe) handling of chemicals over the years (I have worked in 2 different manufacturing pants, and handled chemicals), and I enjoy being able to DIY my juices (much the same as I enjoy baking bread sometimes, but I buy a lot of bread too). With the Canadian Government being such idiots, I was afraid that I would have to just go back to smoking.
Maybe people would feel better if there was a course that you could take in order to get a certificate that would allow you to order the materials to DIY. The the damn government could charge you $500 for the course and $50 for the certificate.
Us DIY'ers are usually pretty amateur, some of us enjoy the craft aspect of it, but none of us are a threat to the Canadian Suppliers, because the average Joe, even if he vapes 100% DIY, has to buy his flavorings and bottles and whatnot somewhere. If the price of Nic Juice goes down , the money will be earned by the suppliers that see the market for what it is and branch out to sell custom flavorings and bottles and pipettes (which would actually be OK in the current legal situation here in Canada)
This is a slippery slope for the suppliers here in Canada to go down. If they get it so that regulation of Nic Juice is in place, they are not guaranteed that they will qualify as suppliers under the new regulations, and maybe the only companies that will have the resources to qualify under exceedingly stringent regulation are Big Tobacco or Big Pharma.

Yeah I clicked through till I found a search bar, and it lead me to nicotine of all sorts- pesticide nicotine, liquid nicotine, pharmaceutical nicotine, sold under another company name, but Levonic was the "gateway" to that search. Maybe I am a little too trusting, but I think that they are not calling this stuff Levonic trying to pass it off as another drug. I think they have it named that to name it, perhaps it is OEM labelling from the supplier.
I think the point of my post is, earlier in the thread there was a little fear mongering going on, complete with what I perceived to be threats to call the authorities on Box Elder. It just made me sad to think that with all the trouble we are having here in Canada with Health Canada, and suppliers that refuse to ship to Canada, anyone would think of making this situation any worse.
