There is no study from New York university published in any medical journal. Therefore i have send an email to Prof Li (who works in the department of Dentistry) and asked her to inform me about their research.
From reading the Daily Mail article, ii bet that they have done no research and they just based their statement on measuring puff number and comparing it with puff numbers of cigarette smoking. They concluded that more puffs means more nicotine and toxin absorption. In case they have performed any specific research, i will inform all.

Do complain to the PCC please, dears. It takes 5 minutes.

It tells you that there has been no research.
The only statement in the Daily Fail article that is 'factual' is that 'in 2009 the FDA blah blah blah'

It is regurgitated rubbish-put out to draw fire from vapers, the Headline is very wicked and evil, but in a retraction of 100 words (on page 27) which 'might' make print they will say that the headline 'may' have been misleading......
Next story coming up on Daily Fail-'Chinese accused of faked moon landing'.

That article has drawn in nearly 300 'irate' commentors, 'Irate commentors' is what the Daily Fail thrives on.

Now I know why I stopped reading newspapers, what total & utter rubbish.
Methinks they are getting pretty desperate,& in the absence of any legitamate studies they will just make them up.

As has already been said what can you expect from the Daily Mail,it's a national joke!

Elaine posted two studies in another thread, by NZ, in 2008 & 2009, that if I'm not mistaken, is the data that the FDA twisted... errrr... misinterpreted and fear mongered ... Errr! I mean alerted with.

To be fair, her article was okay. She didn't (IMO) lie about the study being done. I think that it was the reporter at the Daily Mail who read Ms. Bloom's article and either accidentally or accidentally-on-purpose misread it as having already been done. That's just my opinion of how it went down.
