I went through a similar search last summer.
I wound up buying a Siam mods Cube 14500. (fully mech w/ brass contacts)

At the time I was buying Chad hadn't been making any Alpha's (Altsmoke).
That's what I really wanted.

After using it for a while, it really doesn't seem to hit any harder than my Silver Bullet. (smaller bat may have something to do with that)
If I was doing the same search now, I would just pick up a Silver Vein BB.
The Silver Vein finish is almost like a bed liner coating. (really tough!)

They really don't cost that much more, and if you ever destroy it somehow, that can fix it for you.

OMG thank you! I have wanted one of these for a while and never thought to look for flawed ones. Just saw out of stock and cried a little. Now one is on its way to me!

Awesome! I stumbled on the blemished models and I'm super thankful that I found them!
You will love it!

It looked like everything was out of stock as per usual, but found that they sell "blemished" units at a discounted rate and I could buy it NOW. Total after shipping was about $113 and the unit made it from Greece to my doorstep in 3 days. My blemished unit was only missing the logo/ name/ serial # engraving on the body but otherwise is literally flawless. Sent with some replacement springs and c-clip for the switch as well.

My 'blemished' Temon even had the logo/name/serial#. I finally figured out what was blemished about it after over a week of having it: there are three absolutely tiny marks in the stainless that are visible only in certain light at a certain angle. They're already almost worn away by normal use, and it appears they'll disappear with a few more weeks of use. But they're almost impossible to find as it is -- MM's QC must be insanely good for them to have tossed this in the 'blemished' bin.

The mod is well worth the money. I paid $102 shipped (not sure why it was less) and it's probably my favorite vape purchase yet. So tiny in a pocket I forget which pocket it's in. It even carries easily in a shirt pocket if I use a LR carto or atty. Really nice device.

The BB is nice (I love that clicky button), but it's *huge* for a 14500 device. It's almost looks like it could take an 18490 if the walls were slimmer and the battery fit tighter. Something like the Temon/Piccolo/G16 are literally 3mm wider than the battery itself, and not much longer other than switch and top-cap.

Nice! I just went back and read our thread about the temon and I see that yours arrived in near-perfect condition! That is awesome! I absolutely love this little mod and have gotten more compliments than any other device I own. Maybe if we sell enough of MMV's blem tubes they will hook us up with the temon DID for free! LOL okay never gonna happen but I'm super glad they have the option available to buy these things so people can get a quality mech for a good price- not to mention available to buy!

G16..... I am still stalking you LOL

Yep, I'm really glad I got it. Thanks again for taking the risk ordering blemished and convincing me it's not much of a risk at all.

I use it more than my Provari at the moment. Something about such a tiny pocketable device is very appealing.

i found the mortarita by Edz... currently out of stock... and it comes from the philippines. shipping to the states is kinda expensive though.

Mortarita by Edz - MODS & Batteries

Haha I found this funny from that site:

"This Small mod is best for Women who wants a small but powerful PV. For men this is one of the best back up PV. the design and durability of this small PV will definitely catch attention."

Sexist much? I'M A RED-BLOODED HETEROSEXUAL MAN AND I ENJOY MY 14500 MOD. :)

Thankfully I don't care for the design of that one. Phillipine mods always seem to look so "busy".

THANKS A LOT for letting us know that these come hardly blemished at all and when it works like it does, a small blem doesnt matter. I was stalking them tonight in the clearance section, had the 18500 satin in my cart, was debating about pulling the trigger and decided to, but then had issues with my ipad browser and adding my address, so got on my desktop comp and by the time i got to checkout, there were no 18500 satins available, so I snapped up one of the last few satin 18650s... so can you tell me what are the advantages/disadvantages to each 18500 and 18650? and also can you get spare tubes to convert them? dont really care either way because of how sweet they are.

forgot to ask I am sure this is covered somewhere else and if so point me in that direction, but I am wondering besides the obvious ( the DID temon rba and the spheroid) give me some examples of what looks good atop the temon (it can be anything from a cheap dripper to a clone to a high end RBA) just wanna know what the people who have them already think works best for them on top of the Temon. So stoked to see this arrive soon...

Not 18500/18650; 14500/14650. I honestly hope you didn't think these were 18xxx mods.

Assuming you just typed it wrong, I chose the 14500 size because there is no AW IMR 14650 battery. The AW IMR 14500s are marked 600mAh, while 14650s are usually marked 950mAh (or thereabouts). I don't really trust "trustfire" mAh ratings, so take that for what it's worth.

I haven't seen the tubes sold alone at MM. They are interchangeable with the Piccolo and G16, but I don't think either does 14650 and they aren't easily available either.

IGO-S, A7, A7 mini, mini-RDA, Phoenix V2, Wyvern, etc.

Anything "high-end" isn't easily available. I'd love to try a Spheroid or Penelope on it, but I don't want to pay the premium people want.

I have used generic and Trustfire 14650 (protected ICR) for my E-Power 14650, which is what I'd call a semi-voltage regulated APV. The Trustfire 14650 has an exaggerated 1600 mAh rating. It's more like 1050 mAh that I see on generic 14650s. These protected Trustfire blues are very decent batteries. I buy them from Focalprice out of China for under $4 apiece. Efest does make an IMR 14650. I like these these because they hit with more current than ICR. The Efest 14650 is rated 950 mAh. CCV has those.

Yes, the 14650 is certainly viable, I just wanted AW IMRs since I've used them for years and know how long they last (number of charges) and their overall reliability. Nothing wrong with the Efest batteries, though, and I have a few in 14500 and 18350. I also like the shorter formfactor of the 14500 Temon. Now that I have it in my hands, I'm glad it's not any longer. One of the appeals of 18350 bottom-button mods is how short they are; I wanted that shortness along with slimness.

Both are definitely very pocketable mods, though, and either is a nice choice.

AW used to sell what they called a 14700. It would fit anything that could handle a protected ICR 14650 which is actually 69mm long. AW discontinued that size about two years ago.

I still use the E-Power now and again because it is so pocket friendly. I like the 14500 form factor idea. Maybe there is one in my future. Good thread.

Thanks man I have seen people with everything u mentioned too was just wondering if you have a preference from any of the names u spoke of. Currently all I have that will look decent on the temon is my griffin cuz it's 16 or 17mm. Which of these would be best for pocket carry (I realize than none are really ideal). All ideas are appreciated.
