I am ye of tiny hands as well. I cannot use 18650 woodvils 
My 18490 woodvil while a little large, i can manage. My regular mini is ok, but i get annoyed at how heavy it is.
I mainly use 14500 woods and metals. I love my original minis. NOTHING beats the size. I run them with upgraded contacts aroung .9, and just swap the battery every half a bottle. Been doing it since I got them, and as long as you have enough batteries, you're fine. The new 650mah batteries allow for a bit more use, but i'm just so in the habit of swapping half thru, that i don't think twice.
And without doing the whole bottle mod, all minis hold the same amount, 3ml.
