Rob, do you know about how many mini 14500's you will be making and an estimated month they will be released? I only ask because there is a potential of having a batch of BF Hornets available that will fit these mini's and need lead time without sitting on stock too long.

Can anyone tell me if they are difficult to build, as in size of the deck compared to the rm2
Cheryl, I haven't built one, but expect they'll be MUCH smaller than the rm2, but I would imagine you could do it. I've done the cyclone and that is a tiny deck, but get the leads through the holes, and the coil just sorta hangs there. lol You could ask Rory, thebikeguy, he likes them a lot. let's summon him and see if it works @TheBikeGuy

oh, also keep in mind, that Rob said he'd be LP'ing quite a few of em, maybe most of em?? Not sure on that part.

POOF!, here I am. (I was summoned). I like the Hornet a lot. The posts are a lot closer together and it's a smaller deck, but it's still the same sort of thing. You're still poking the legs through two holes that are probably about the same size as you have been doing. One hole is higher than the other, but so are the legs of your coil. I it's the best I've used on a 14500. In order to get the same flavor with an RM2 I had to drop a coil or two. That makes a short battery life even shorter. I'm perfectly happy running about 2 ohms with it. It's small enough it doesn't take much to produce good flavor. I've thought about milling down the deck on mine, but if I did I probably still wouldn't run anything bigger than 14mm. In my opinion, bigger attys need more power and it wouldn't take much for a 14500 to become a pain to use, because of all the battery changes.
