I hate to be facetious...but where does SoCal actually start?

I'm less than 70 miles from da border, I know I'm in SoCal. But why do people in LA say they are in SoCal?

I guess if LA is SoCal...where I'm at would be North Mexico?

More SE for us. We're going to most likely go to Hesperia or Apple Valley. Not going back to Long Beach though, too much of my past is waiting there.
That's a good question, where DOES SoCal begin? I'd imagine it's lower than LA.

It's cheap out here, but ya hafta drive 35 miles to town to find a job and get real groceries.
You can get a 5 bedroom for $800/month

I could live with that! I like driving! Even if I didn't, $800 a month would help me learn to like driving.

We've been in the same house for 5 years, our rent is $650.

Nice! I suggested it my sister, she'll look into it. I don't really care where we go, my sister's all I've really got, so I stick with her.

Went in the hospital with pneumonia and died of heart failure.
A few years back he had a really bad staph infection, I'm wondering if it didn't have some lingering effect. He's the 2nd fighter to die within a year, from pneumonia and heart failure.

just a guess, but probably because EVERYTHING south of central california is So. Cal.?
