any suggestions on battery life for the 18490 vs mini. both with a RM2 atty. Do they vape the same as far as throat hit etc. how about battery life between the two. I currently have a metal 2.1 with a RM2. That one allows me to go the whole day with juice and sometimes I will have to switch to a second battery to finish my day. Does anyone think with the mini I would be able to last the day with 2 batteries or 3. I know it is all subjective but anyone that has gone from an 18490 to a mini with info would be great. Also does the wood hit the same as a metal 2.1? Thanks in advance for any suggestions...

If you are talking about the metal Mini (14500) vs the Mini 2.1 (18490) then you will need at least two batteries. The 14500 is 600 mAh, the 18490 is 1100 mAh. So about 1/2 the time with the 14500.

Robert no longer makes the metal Mini. But they do pop up in the classy's from time to time.

I feel the wood REO's hit harder than their metal equals as far as battery size. Metal REO's use the body as part of the circuit and that pulls some voltage.

I am sorry I should clarify. I was talking about the Woodville 18490 vs the Woodville mini. I currently have a metal 2.1 but was not sure if that was a good comparison for the reasons you state. So would a wood mini last equivalent to the metal 2.1 since the metal drains some of the voltage? Sounds like I may be going through 3 batteries a day if I go with a Woodville mini. vs the 2 batteries with the 2.1.

If you get a Mini Woodvil then I say you would need 3 batteries for a day. The drain of the metal is really not that much. Some people don't even notice the difference between a wood or metal.

I am not sure how soon the Mini Woodvil will be offered. With the run Robert just did and upcoming projects it might be quite some time. You may get lucky and find one listed if he still has any.

Karen is the information queen of reoville! But i seem to be getting the same battery life on my mini woodvil that i do on my 14500 metal minis. I get about half a bottle per battery. My metal 2.1s battery life was much longer than any older mini, its just battery size difference and to be expected.
