He usually posts the items without a quantity on the site a day or two before he sells them so you have time to see the one you want. Sometimes there are more than one of a kind, so he only posts one photo...so not every mod will look exactly like the one pictured.

*edit....To find out if there is more than one of a kind offered, simply click on the title of the mod and it will show you how many are in stock once he's posted them for sale.

It is not fair to show that pic of all the styles.
Which will be mine???

(I ordered already one and gave Rob the freedom, to choose by his own, which will be the right color for an old guy from Germany. I guess the one in checkered(?) colors and mixed high contrast two colors are not good for me and fit better to younger people. Maybe dark and only one wood color is better for me. Or what would you suggest?)

:) Funny to imagine that collection.

Last night I took a serious moment and found out, that beside the jokes here in the thread "which to choose", there is deep inside one true point in these comments: "What will be in ten years?"

Will I kick my ..., because I choose "classical wood" and in ten years collectors search the quite seldom crazy color wood mods? Will it be nice, when you use a crazy color wood mod and other people envy you with their classical, conservative wood mods? (Should I try to buy two mods? One for sunny days? The other one for rainy days? And when should I use the aluminum Mini, which I can't await to use?) (Why is the postman not ringing???????)

Probably best to get a few of each style, just to play it safe.

Ohhhhh, you are so kind :*

Now is the big question: Who will buy those in heavy colors?

Andreas

I have a red stabilized pre-ordered, with 801 connection, which has to be special ordered. And two Curly Oak/Oak, both 801 connection, one new style Woodvil and one Classic Style Woody, all 18490 size. I have many of the different WOODs in Woody, Woodvil, and Mini Woodvil. All of Robert's WOODS are stunning. I just recently got a used Walnut/walnut Woodvil, off of Classies. I was more than pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it is and it is much lighter in weight than I though it would be.

The Red stabilize is going to be my Pool/Spa REO as my REO like to "swim." !!!!!!!! None of them float, btw. I prefer the Woods for "swim time" as I don't have to get out of spa to take metal REO in to house to rinse out the Spa water from the black firing pin box. With the woods, well oiled and waxed, inside and out, you just remove battery, wipe moisture out, remove atty and blow out, and return to perfect vaping, in a minute or so. The best atty for immersion and immediate vaping after blowing out is the 801. They don't skip a beat after a blow-out.

BTW..... Red is my favorite color.

Most of us REOnauts know the dilemmas. Our growing numbers of "collectors" rarely let any leave our collections. I don't plan on selling any of mine unless we have to move to under a bridge, living in a cardboard box, and one of our dogs needs medical care. I'll sell EVERYTHING!!!!! before I sell any of my REOs. And, for sure, if I did let one go, it would be a gift. I've already traded or gifted my duplicate metal REOs. I've kept duplicate metal colors but they are from different "generation," different millers and/or anodizeers.

Hugs, Alice
