So you have already other wood reos?
What quality is the button, switch? Will it be "fitting" to this wood, or will it be more "just a switch"?

I ask, because I received yesterday a cheap boxmod from madvapes. And although I have no reason to complain, it is just a plastic boxmod "as much affordable as possible".

Andreas

I have 3 of the REO woods, and 3 REO Minis. I also have an educated appreciation of design. I can honestly say, that every design decision has been carefully considered and implemented by beautiful craftsmanship, including the wiring and switch. The difference in quality between a REO and any other box mod is like the difference between a Porsche and a Kia.

Hi dear american friends i ve a question.... Is possible with 18490 woodvil to vape at
6v ??? Wich batteries ?
my dear Rhapsodies Fire, you know something about 6v batteries? sorry for my bad english. <bye from italy

Someone else may know more, but I think the same batteries that work in the REO Mini for 6v would work in the 18490. The problem is stacking the batteries, and being no taller than 49-50 mm.

Ciao, amico mio! :)
I haven't found any yet. The 18350 and 16340 are too tall...if only they came in a 250 size.

Possible? Yes, in the same way as it is possible to drive with a 1963 VW Beetle at the Nurburgring with 300km/h. But instead of putting a Porsche engine into an unmodified VW Beetle, use a special Porsche in race setup.

If you are willing to stack batteries, do it only in special devices, which are prepared for exploding batteries. Use Golden Greek Telescopic Storm in stainless steal which has venting holes for the gas from the explosion and which can adjusted to different length.

Two days ago I received two 14250 batteries from Madvapes. I tried them one time in the 14500er Mini Cube from Siam Mods, which has an adjustable battery pole and big big venting holes. I saw the 3,5 Ohm atomizer directly glowing like a vulcano. I put the batteries away and never will do that again. Don't even think about to do the same in a single battery box mod.

How do you know already the correct words for the wood?

Andreas

Look at reosmods.com at the Woodvil and Mini Woodvil, you can see what woods are used. Some are easier than others to learn the grain and patterning. Some are easier to tell just by the color. Rob usually surprises us with new kinds of woods too!

Yes, some are understandable for me, like walnut, oak, ebony and so on, others are totally new to me and I can't combine it with the german words for special wood, which I knew from my father.

Andreas

Hi Andreas, I have the same problem with the names of wood I've never seen before. I just point them out in the photos and ask Rob...the Master knows all! :)

I was just thinking about this last night. As an added bonus, in this forum is a first class education about wood. I can not only identify most of them by sight, but I also know something about their hardness, workability, and the like. This is sure more relevant and interesting than just looking at pictures in text books or collecting leaves for identification like they made us do in school.

It's going to be hard (once again) to pick just one because they are all so beautiful. I just keep going back to the pictures Robert posted and admiring them.
