so im gonna order a provari, my question is, what kinda battery life am i looking at with the 18490, i only ask cause i like the 18490 end cap on the black chrome better than the extended cap. i have an IMR 18650 in my lava tube right now and i can prolly get a day and a half out of the batts my vape pace. if i can get a full day out of the 18490's ill just get those.

From what you say, it sounds like you should be able to get about 1 day using a AW IMR 18490 1100mAh Battery.
JSYK - An AW IC 18500 1500mAh Battery will also fit in a ProVari. I have both AW IMR 18490's and AW IC 18500's batteries for my Provari and they both work the same. Except that the AW IC 18500 lasts longer because it has 400 more mAh.
But. I don't use Voltages higher than 4.3~4.5 volts. Not sure how an AW IC 18500 will work over 4.5 volts because I never vape that high.
i got 18650 3000mah in my provari,,,they last crazy long time for me ,,,
i might eventually look to trade my 18650 set up for the standard cap setup
since i only charge batteries two at a time ?? when one goes dead,,set it aside and use another battery,,when it is dead i put the other back in and it goes most of the day,,then 2nd dead goes
in till dead,,then i charge both of them ..

I get a whole day of vaping from the 18490, but others may need a little more. some rough days, I see the LED blinking at the end of the day....
I have one of each.
I throw the 18650 in when I leave the house for work and throw the 18490 in when I get home. I'm never out of charge during the week.
On the weekends though, I have vaped the 18650 from Friday afternoon all the way to Sunday night. And I vape almost constantly.
The 18490 on the other hand would need to be charged up Saturday night.
I'm getting wicked good battery life out of both of them. And I agree, the chrome end cap looks cooler.
