Anyone tried this in a lavatube ?? 18650 3.7V 4000mAH

Great shop btw!

Many members will probably pop in and tell you that the Ultrafire 4000mah cell is a lie. It is not 4000mah, the 3600mah is not 3600, and the 3000mah is not 3000.

A boost mod, like the LavaTube (I do not own one), draw MORE current from the battery than is sent to the atty/carto.
The Ultrafire series of cells have a protection board that will cut off at about 2.5 to 3 amps current. This is by design, not a fault. If the cell continues to shut down because of the protection board you think the cell is bad.

You should probably invest in a cell that has been "designed" for a little more current. One that has a 4amp protection chip in the protection board. Other options are the AW protected cell with an even higher trip current (has 3 mosfet switches in the protection board), or an IMR High Drain cell.

The Ultrafire might be good for a 3.7 volt vaper, using 2 ohm cartos. But you will be disappointed with it in the LT.
