I use the 2600 and 2900. The IMR you have to fiddle around and add O rings and get a lot less batt time especially if you use LR attys

For those of you who have a P18, which battery do you prefer or think works best? The AW IMR 1600, the AW 2600, or the AW 2900?

Love my P10, so decided to try the P18 next.

I definitely recommend the AW2600mah. Great bang for the buck. Both the AW 2600mah and 2900mah have plenty of amperage to drive an LR atomizer just as well as an IMR and many report longer life out of them (the 2600mah and 2900mah). I do find when running the 2900mah version, it is a bit longer than the 2600mah, so switching to the included .070 thick Oring in the bottom of your battery chamber may be necessary.

If 1600 mah will last you all day, which it should, I would go with IMR. Normal protected batteries will last longer, but they do not give out consistent power. IMR will give you the same amount of power until it dies. They also have a higher output. Coupling an IMR with an LR atty gives the feel and vapor production of using a 5V battery. I have a few of the Normal black AW's, but ever since I got my IMR, I'll never turn back.
