1st full day without an analog!

Hello from Richmond VA, also known as the cigarette capital of the world. I have 12 close relatives all retired from PM, and another 6 that still are closing in on their retirement one day at a time. On holidays at grandmas shed hand out cartons of marlboros like door prizes, so the fact that ive had a pack+ a day habit for 15 years is no surprise.

About 3 months ago I picked up a vision spinner, pro tank 2, and some horrible juice from a B&M about 3 miles from the house, id tried a couple of disposables prior to that purchase and they just didnt cut it. I was surprisingly pleased with my new pro tank but the 1000mah battery in the spinner would die before I got home from work so the analog habit wasnt going anywhere without a back up. So last night as I extinguished my last smoke I plugged in the spinner and went to bed. Woke up this morning grabbed the fresh charged unit and headed out in search of a backup/upgrade. 2 hours later I had a itaste svd with a few new tanks for different juices and a second pro tank II. Couldnt be happier and the 24 hour mark has come and gone!

Thank you guys and gals for putting together this wealth of info, without it I would have either gotten frustrated or flat out gave up. Ive still got a ways to go but this milestone is a pretty big one if you ask me!

Congrat's. For me, day one was the only day I really struggled. Apart from a few wobbly moments, I have really sailed the first month. Be prepared to start spending money as your taste buds get more discerning. I picked up a an old clearo half full of the stuff I smoked at the start and really could not believe I smoked that crap!!

Nice pal. Today i tried one analog, i cant stand anymore. I get between today and tomorrow no more analogs. The main problem is, even with all the nicotine i need, there still some kind of craving.. its not a crave, its more an habit... but when i try the analog comes "damn this crap stinks! And the taste is horrible"... im getting to the point im enjoying the fact vapors have taste.. and burned tobacco dont have much of a taste... its more like stink taste. When im trying to do a lucky strike, it tastes like a burned coil

I guess i was lucky- 1.5PAD smoker for 20 yrs. From the first day i vaped, i never craved a stinky. Ive had probably 10 or so in the 2-3 months since i started vaping- more just in a crowd of smokers and figured "what the hell". Each time the smell and taste made me want to vomit- cant believe i used to smoke 30 of these in a DAY!!

Today is my 2 month anniversary and I well remember the first full day I went without a cigarette. I was totally amazed that I could actually do it. A 30 year habit gone that fast. E-cigs are the best invention of the last 100 years as far as I am concerned.

Congrats! 4 hours for me but in that four hours I would of had about 10 cigarettes. (I smoke like a chimney after getting home from work).
