1st Post and ?? Got a Chi You Clone & 18350 batts what ohms are very safe

New to RBAs.. been vaping for 2 years. itaste vv or vision spinners with aero tank.. i just purchased a chi you clone, igo w and some
Efest 18350 800Mah batteries and also one AW 18350 700 Mah. I want to build coils for it but want to stay in a "very safe" range. Anyone have experience with this type of set up? From what I can tell the max load for the Efest batts is 6.4 C. some sites say 8 but I am going with the low number.. please any help would be terrific! thank you!

Hello C00per, Welcome to ECF

For those batteries going with 6.4 C is wise. General rule is to not 75% of your C Rating which would be about 5 Amps.

To determine amps use 4.2 V (always use this since it is fully charged batt voltage) divided by Ohms. So 4.2/1.1 = 3.81 Amps

Staying right at 1 ohm is really going to be your err on the side of caution, but still get great performance range.
