Good Day!

Although this is my first post, I have spent countless hours on this forum prior to my first PV purchase. Thank you for all of the good advise thus far. Please let me apologize in advance if I do not use the correct terminology.

Now, to get down to it:

I ended up purchasing two ego c Twist 1000 kits and one extra short battery (650) and four Vision Ego Clearomizers to get started.

The cone and tank worked OK but I was having to fill it every couple of hours.

The taste of my favorite flavor (Maly Toffee from BWB) is extremely muted in the vision clearos. I get much better flavor from using the "stock cone/tank/atty" but as many of you know, the atomizer needs replacing often.

Second: When using coffee and chocolate flavors, my clearo. gurgles, has an extremely tight draw, and seeps onto the battery constantly. I have tried blowing it out, pulling the stem with needle nose pliers to no avail. I have to unscrew it and clean it every few hits.

So,

If there is anyone out there who loves Malty Toffee as much as I do, please tell me the best set up to put on my ego's. I prefer a cooler, sweeter vape and something that will hold more than 1ml of juice.

Is there a product that produces consistent flavor production across the board that has little maintenance? I wouldn't mind changing out atomizers but not really crazy about installing my own wicking and making coils. That stuff is way over my head at the moment.

Below are my flavors:
BWB Malty Toffee (my favorite)
AVE Bobas Bounty
AVE Bees Knees
Highbrow: Dark Chocolate Mint
Strawberry Lemonade (meh)
Coffee - Bavarian Hazelnut Cream

Thanks,
Gwen

hello .
i had these kind of problems when i was using twist and clearomizers.. it seems that the clearomizers that are on the market sit too flat on the twist conection .. and the gurgles .. i think they appear because there is too much tight draw (and you are strugeling to vape and the atty soaks too much liquid ..or the liquid is too thin..)

if you have a drill at home you can try to make a thin hole in the metal base of the clearo .. ~1mm if the problem persist make another hole in the oposite position

hope it helps

Try taking a look at both the kanger eVod, and Kanger T3 to replace your current clearos.

Both are similar that they are both bottom coils (the heating wire is at the bottom) and both offer replaceable heads. Both have much better flavor than the vision ego "stardust" clearos. The T3s hold 3.5 mil juice and I think the eVods hold 2.5 both more than the 1.4-1.6 a vison stardust will hold.

I have tried almost every clero and the eVod is what I use the most.

Hello, Gwen. Welcome to ECF and congrats on your decision to stop smoking.

You have brought up a common problem with the more common juice delivery devices (the parts that fit on your battery, hold the liquids, and heat those liquids into vapor). Some of the e-liquids are thicker than others and darker in color than others, and those two factors can pose problems with wicking the juices to the heating elements.

Of the flavors that you listed, I'm only familiar with two. Boba's is notorious for being one of the thickest flavors and presents problems for most vapors because of that. Stawberry lemonade is a citrus flavor and some have been known to be able to crack or melt the clear plastic in clearomizers and tanks.

List of flavors known to crack/melt clearomizers and tanks: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-crack-tanks-ce2s-clearos-34.html#post8740263

I'm not particularly a fan of clearomizers. I am of the opinion that any of the juice delivery devices that make use of the string-wick method tend to mute most e-liquid flavors. I have also found their performance and consistancy to leave much to be desired. Having said that, I do recommend them to new vapors starting out merely because they are simple to use and fill, but also recommend that they try a variety of delivery devices to find which one best suits them. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...rto-tank-what-juice-delivery-attachments.html

You may not have access to the linked articles that I provided until you have successfully made 5 posts here on the forum. Then after the system resets (usually within one hour), you will be able to read them. So go fullfill your requirement and return here to read the articles that I wrote especially for new vapors like yourself. :)

Welcome to ECf. First I understand your troubles. I had a lot of problems when I first started out. My best suggestion that I can personally give is to just keep it simple at first. Yes I know the muted flavors are a bummer but they still taste better than an analog.

I see way to many vapors trying to go to a carto/tank system (which I perfer), and then get frustrated because they either bought a really cheap device or they just can't comprend how to use them. I mean no offense by that last statement. When I first started I went with the "Vision Vivi Nova". It worked really good and had a very easy upkeep to it. Wicks could be changed really easy. But that's just my :2c:

Try to find something that works easy and provides you the vape you desire. (No one said that vaping ain't easy). It's all up to the person that is on the receiving end of the vape that counts the most. I went through a lot of different juice delivery systems before I finally got one that I like. Some will not like the Vision vivi nova and some will.

For me it was just really easy and I couldn't taste anything anyway because all my taste buds went away with the analogs that I smoked for 45+years. I just wish you the best of luck and hope you have a really fantastic new life journey in vaping.

WSB I want to welcome you to the ECF, this is where you will find alot of answers to common problems like what you are experiencing.
First i will say good job on getting the twists they will do fine for you while you learn the ropes...second...the vision clearos are not the best...they are notorious for leaking and fouling quickly...and really once you burn them they are trash...you can not remove the burn taste regardless of what you hear from folks.

What we all want is to get consistency right? ... well thats tough with a growing new industry when a product comes out and its great then it gets popular and demand skyrockets then manufacturers cheapen the process to speed up and meet the demand...then the product gets to us and it sucks...just in time for the next new thing...over and over...you can see this example with the Kanger T3's and the stardust (thats what the vision clearos you have are a clone of) ...ok now that you know what you are dealing with there are a few clearo units that do perform well and are easily maintained that i would suggest but everyone finds there own way.

I like Vivi Nova V2's you will be able to use all 3 coils they come with on your twist.
I like Carto tanks...they are simple to learn and pretty consistant.
I really like the Smoketech dual coil mega carto...its a 1.8 ohm dual coil vape factory...great flavor and vape production easy to fill..they aint pretty but THEY WORK!!!...I use them all day at work.

good luck and find your way

I will never break even. Thats just a fact, albeit a sad one... :D

^^^^^^^This one. There are way to many mods that I want. But at least I don't feel bad about spending the money on my new toys.
And there has been more added since this pic. (I'm so ashamed) NOT!!!!!!!
