on a new manual batt, that i've been vaping on for just an hour, i changed carts to one i was using earlier (on the same batt) and it won't vape.

i hit the switch and it lights up, but there's no crackle sound and no TH when i inhale, and no vape when i exhale. i was weeding through posts but can't find anything readily accessible about this.

help?

I have one that will vape on a battery but not on a passthru. Sounds like u just got bad cart. I had one that I used repeatedly for about 7 fills since it vaped so good then I decided to align the hole as it was slightly off center. It never vaped again. I no longer align the center hole unless it is a hard vape.

Try this, if you haven't thrown it out yet.

The cartomizers have the same flexible ring under the power post as the batteries have, providing flexibility so the two posts don't grind against each other. It may have gotten pushed down and failed to spring back up.

Take a pin and try to lever it back up. NOT TOO HARD, or you might pry it loose, either severing the wiring or breaking the seal and causing a leak. Just lever it up a wee tiny bit.

This has worked for me once or twice when I got the rare "dud."
