Same here in regards to the ohms, isn't a kayfun best between 0.8-1.3/1.4?
Honestly I believe a Kayfun is best by taste. I personally build 1.5-2.0 Ohms but I'm using a mech mod. Depending on my current build and battery charge I Vape anywhere from about 7 to about 11 watts.

I've noticed that the base of the kayfun and or top of the control head on the ES gets pretty warm..
Was what could cause this?
Its not super bad but its noticeable and doesn't happen when I switch tanks to my nautilus. Even swapped them out did a try with the mvp. Weird just gets hot on the ES but its the kayfun that I can actually feel heat on..... anyway.
Any thoughts?
Thanks guys

If you're chain vaping, warm is to be expected. Touch a night lite for comparison, they typically range (for the incandescent ones) from about 3 to 7 watts... :)

What resistance did you wind up at on the KF? And are you running it at a higher power level than the Naut?
I ended up at 1.1 ohm. Still on that first coil, did change out the cotton yesterday. Meant to take a pic (forgot).
Been running the KF @ 3.7-4.2 ish. The Naut been at 4.4 when on the Evic but on the mvp thats way to high I back it down to 3.9 or switch to watts sometimes between 8n 8n1/2 .
The Evic is definitely nice but its quirky to say the least. So much stuff going on and its useful imo once u get it figured out..
Thats where im at. Trying to get the rvv rvw down.

At 1.1 Ω and 4.2 volts, that's a hair over 16 watts. At 3.7 that's still about 12 1/2 watts. Make sure your air flow is wide open - some even take the screw out.

But at 16 watts, I'm not surprised it's getting warm
On the ES yes that's what the screen says but I put it on the mvp which doesn't go higher then 10.5 watts. With prrtty much same results..
