I'm planning on building something (not sure in what yet) that can hold a 26500, with on-board charging, and be able to fire 2 LR Atties independently / simultaneously. Will an IMR 26500 handle the amperage needed for the two? The spec sheet says its rated at 20C so I'm thinking this should be more than enough. Opinions or facts?

Are you talking about this cell? Assuming you are talking about that particular cell, it's not 20C, more like 8C. The specs state max drain is 20A. It can power several LR atties at the same time no problem. IMR cells do have less charge capacity than the standard protected ones or ICR cells, but it's almost as much as a regular protected 18650.

I am assuming you will be running the LR's in parallel and that they will be around 1.5 Ohm each. Lets also say the battery is at maximum 4.2V. That's 23W of vaping (will cause mental blackouts, hallucinations and possible smoke signal replies from Indian tribes) and will draw around 6A so the 26500 will handle no problem. Have you chosen the 26500 purely for maH
