2 New Battery Lines Introduced Today--Diamond Series and Stealth Series!!!

Theoretically: About 1/90th (on an XL, less on lower powered batteries). Applied: Shouldn't effect the recovery time at all noticeably so there shouldn't be any practical difference.

Thanks Addy! I started trying to think this through but I really haven't don't know how that LED is wired into the circuit. I'm clueless without knowing the internal circuit diagram.
How did you come to the 1/90 figure. Actually I'd be more curious about the LED/ No LED question! 0.7 voltage drop across the diode seems like it would affect things. The LED can't be wired in series with the battery, can it? If it is taking it out should increase voltage to the carto.

When I got word of the Stealth batteries I rushed over to V4L, Debit card at the ready! IMO, the worst feature of the KR808D-1 battery has always been the tip LED (or any other battery with a tip LED for that matter). And, then ... ALL Autos. Very disappointed. I hope this series will include manuals soon.

Interesting additions. One which highlights the LED with a rhinestone for LED fans, and "stealth" batteries with no LED for those (like me) who would prefer to not light up.

I may not buy either of the new style batteries ... but, I am running low on some tasty juice. So, it all turns out well that I came back ... been away for a while.

The LED is wired to a PWM pin on the MCU and the ground side of the battery.

That said - I went much simpler: Current draw of the LED as a function of total output/charge-life of the battery

WOW!!! Just received my last order yesterday, had to go back and order again today. Metallic Red w/red and Metallic red w/white, now all I need is the PCC for the XL's and my wishlist is complete. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in China now, and have my first prototype.

Problem is it will charge 2 batteries at once, all sizes, holds 6 carts, and has changeable case covers
