I have a simple take on the while bloog vs v4l new battery lines (hopefully Leaford doesn't get mad at me for this)- if their new technology was so great, wouldn't Steve have incorporated it into the new batteries? I'm pretty sure he got a look at what they were doing since he is currently in china. I know he's committed to making the best pv's on the market, and from what I can tell, the diamond and stealth series are just that. They're the best all around kr808's out there.

I'm not a fan of buying old technology when there is something better available. Also not a fan of carrying around my pretty princess wand. Way :2cool: for all that :p

I, for one, prefer the so-called "old" batteries. I think the draw is too "airy" on the new battery line autos. Just my opinion. I am very happy with both the manual regular size and the XL sizes in the older line
batteries. It's nice to have the "bling" instead of the grey ash cap, and so I ordered a couple of them. But I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the regular line of batteries at all.

Thanks for the replies about bloog vs. diamond. My bloog isn't a shorty and doesn't make noise (am thinking noise would come from a carto rather than the battery anyhow). My experience was actually the opposite, it made no noise (like no gurgle or popping) and had lots of flavor & vapor. But funny you mention the burnt taste Morandir -- the only time I noticed that is when I stuck it on my VK. When put back onto the bloog it was fine. And, I have wondered about the Leaford connection. I am still very new at all this, but I see his name everywhere, associated with V4L and Bloog and who knows what else... so who exactly is this guy? (I also saw that it is just a nickname, they had his real name listed on the V4L site). Yikes, I rambled, sorry :(

The bloog cartos from what I've heard are hit and miss. Some are great, some have a horrible burning taste. I've been half way tempted to order a bloog just to do the comparison. Personally, I don't see how it could be better than the new diamond and stealth series. Maybe in battery life, but I haven't had to take a primer puff with these, the activation is spot on, and I get the same th as with the manuals.

New vaper but started on the BMF and love it. Great throat hit and vapor. No carto problems. Love the chocolate and vanilla. Starter kit came quickly. Reorder arrived today and took one week. Slow service I would say. Meanwhile saw a sale at V4L and read of good service. V4L cartos arrived in two days. First carto-dead. Since then they have been fine, but the vapor and TH is not as good as the BMF. I did order a diamond battery and more cartos this weekend as I was nervous at the delay at Bloog. Hoping I won't have to suck as hard to get any vapor or flavor with the diamond.

I think V4l and BMF are both good ways to start vaping...give the edge in everything to BMF except I am concerned about cost(no sales) and customer service/wait time. :)

Hey everyone.

Ok, I just have to say this, not sure if anyone else has or not. I like that you guys came out with new batteries and all, but umm, do they need to be either feminin or southern hick so much? Do not get me wrong, hats not a bash really.

I just being a guy and all, do not want to walk around with a bedazzled battery for other men to look at me like im well....

And I certainly do not wear the type of clothes that the camo batteries would blend in with :)

Anyway, just my 2 cents :)

I have heard from others the stealth is not so "cammo" more black than anything live and in person. My hubby feels the same as you and wants to wait until they have a black one (btw, going with the stealth theme, I would have made it matte black myself). He is got a manly bejewelled one to match his college's school colors (blue & red, for #2 KU). Make him feel a little less girly to make it a sport theme in his mind.

There's 148 'macho' styles of batteries out there, with gray ash or no lights, and just 2 or 3 styles with gem caps. I'm happy there's something sparkly to choose. And from looking at NBA/NFL players, musicians, etc., seems like guys enjoy their bling too.

i have been trying to find a way to put a crystal in my batteries since i started, because the ashcap looks like cheap plastic crap. i went to the craft store and bought little rhinestones and beads etc, and couldn't quite get the right size. then i read somewhere that the "bedazzler" brand was the one to try, but i haven't found them locally. but now i can scrap the whole idea, since this Diamond Series came out. the work is now done for me, and with improved battery technology. win-win!

the crystal is NOT feminine. that's ridiculous. my motorcycle speedometer has similar crystals over the lights for the turn signal and neutral indicators so they're easier to see in sunlight. the crystal is an enhancement to the LED that blows that garbage-looking grey ...-cap out of the water. i can't believe anyone is so insecure to be worried about the crystal tip. if you're a man that is bent out of shape over the crystal, break out a sharpie marker and color it black. i suggest growing a pair. or, just save a buck and buy their standard VK batteries, which work great as is. it's not like the Diamond Series is replacing every battery they sell.

incidentally, THANX TO V4L FOR RELEASING THIS DIAMOND SERIES. by doing so, you pretty much eliminated any regret which may have lingered in the back of my mind for not going with the ridiculously overpriced "kate heigl" brand. these things look AWESOME, in this straight, comfortable-with-his-sexuality-and-plenty-enough-macho guy's humble opinion.

less whining, more vaping!

can anyone confirm that the Diamond shorties don't have the same problem with non-contact of cartos, where you have to pull the center contact up a little bit with a pin?

Got one to see if i like driving with it better. Yeah, it's great and no problems except that i wouldn't take it on a long roadtrip without backup.
