I rebuild mini protank and I think it is the same heads as Evod. I can go over a week. Get a few and build them all at the same time.

In which sense at the same time??
Now I placed a microcoil of kanthal 0,3 ribbon, 7 spirals, I think that Is good, but maybe is for this coil that cotton becomes black faster.
Now I burn the cotton in 24 hours(but I still have good taste for now but surely it will not live longer ) , it's not so much time and I don't understand why, it's black too much as you can see in the picture.
So why this?? Maybe I put too much cotton?? I simply put a 2cm x 3mm rolled cotton, I think it's correct, or I should put less than 3mm??
Rolled cotton should be smarter and thin than coil, so liquid pass through cotton and coil, causing less burn to the cotton?? Could be this the solution?

Last question : maybe with another stripe of cotton on the top of the coil (over the first one) could better irrorate my taifun, giving better taste??

Help help help, I m near to find the solution to my problem but I don't understand where is the issue.

I don't like cotton on top as it gets in the way. It looks like you have too much cotton in there choking the juice. Roll it loose it should not bunch up going through. The juice doesn't travel through the cotton but rather through the air space (loft) between fibers. Make sure you prime the wick a few times and vape lightly at first unt it is saturated.

Well got my Patriot clone today. I feel stupid because, for some reason, thought you had to build the first coils to go in it but there were coils in it. Maybe all of them come with the first coils in them? I am not sure what they use for the wick, is it silica or something? Anyway, so far have tried it out on 8 watts and it didn't hit as hard as or with as much flavor as my carto tank. How much do you have to saturate the wicks with, I think I didn't have enough to start with and then added more but it still doesn't vape as well as my regular carto tanks so hopefully it works far better when I can build some of my own coils or kind of breaks in, not sure? I haven't gotten the supplies yet to make my own, they are on order. :vapor:

I need to create cotton wick with measurement :can you write me how many cm x mm i should take? I m using 2cm x 3mm.
Also I need a picture or a video where I can see very well how thin is the cotton to put inside coil, can you post here a link in good quality ? I think this is the best solution to avoid any other problem, here watching is better than reading... :)

I think cotton is king. I have tried silica, but didn't have much luck with it.

What I am willing to try now is cotton yarn instead of cotton balls ... I am thinking that yarn will last longer in the atomizer than the standard cotton balls.

Instead of wrapping your new coil wire around the cotton yarn (like you normally do with silica), I am going to double the yarn and pull it though an already made coil.

The photos below shows silica being put into an already made coil ... and I think the same technique can be used when installing the cotton yarn into the coil:
(this is a 4-juice channel Kayfun Lite clone with a 2.4mm inside diameter coil):
