Evening all,

Coming up on a month now for my girlfriend and I. We've already converted her sister-in-law, and I'm working on a friend who works next door. He recently picked up the analog habit (again?) and is very light with it. He used to bum from me. I've let him try my Joyce 510 a couple times and he's curious. I've read now and again about disposables, but haven't found much info. I'm looking for a decent model that I can pick up a couple and have them ready when he's more than passing curious. (My mom's been an on again / off again smoker for the past 30 years, the other one's for her when she gets the urge to start up again.)

Secondly,

I just ordered a pair of 510 Riva's from Liberty Flights. Right after ordering I saw a few posts about the tank cartomizer system. All the ones I've seen are for eGo's. Looking at the eGo's and Riva's I've often wondered what the differences are and if they're compatible. The reservoir on the tank looks appealing. Anyone have any insight?

I have no info on your first question. As for your second question, the Ego and all it's numerous ....... children are basically a 510 on 'roids. Just a much bigger battery that will last 6 to ten hours depending on the mah rating. As far as I know the only thing that isn't compatible between some of them is the decorative atty cone. Ego's and most clones use a screw on cone while my Inferno uses a cone held on by an O-ring that lets you pop it on and off. I haven't got to try the "tankomizer" yet but I'm planning on ordering a couple on Friday. They look like a win but you might want to check out the Ego T thread. So far I've seen them from Ovale, TW, and Volcano.

One of the suppliers listed at the bottom of the forum has plastic sleaves that fit over the tip of your PV so others can vape on it or try it in a more healthy manner. They were like a $1 for 5 of them. I believe it was one of the venders in the bottom half of the list but don't remember which one. This would be easier and cost less.

Yeah I think both MadVapos and LiteCigUSA.net have disposable 510's for $10. One also has disposable 306's but I don't recommend those as a demo unit becuase you cannot actually buy a real Joye 306 except as parts.

Go with disposable 510's and give them some juice too for refilling? Not sure how long the disposables last but I did read the parts should not be used with the real 510. (maybe the carts could be used)

What about a decent cartomizer super mini like a kr808d-1?

I smoked the Vogue Disposable VV1's when I started - 18mg mint. They seemed to last quite a long time - 3 days of some good vaping until the battery went and a decent amount of vape if I double puffed on them. Once I got my current system I gave my last VV1 to a friend who's already to make the switch. Tried PureSmoke disposable as well, was really dissapointed with the battery life. They give you two carts for the top but mine never lasted for the full first one. The draw is tough, not as much vapor either. However I will say that the menthol really did remind me of a real smoke - sorta like a Benson and Hedges.

As for the tanks - all I can say is that I love my eGo-T.. :) My only complaint is that they only hold 1ml - but that's just an excuse to switch flavors.. I'm on my 2nd tank already today and will probably fill up 2 more for "work" and the socializing that happens after..
